Our children very much enjoy their school experience in Banogue NS. It is a wonderful school because it has such a strong school community – the children are relaxed and happy and develop strong lasting friendships.
The teachers are highly motivated and very interested in each child, making sure they are cared for throughout their school life. Most importantly our children are very happy in Banogue NS.

We are delighted with Banogue N.S. Our daughter loves going to school every day and, in more recent times, the school has gone over and above in assisting with home learning. Ms Costelloe has made home schooling easy. Thank you!

"Banogue National school has a curriculum that stimulates creativity and encourages independent learning. The teachers and staff are nurturing and caring while providing the structure and guidance that my son needs. The small class size encourages excellent involvement between child and teacher therefore every child is valued . There is a friendly school community and extremely active Parents Council that creates a great atmosphere for all the family. We are extremely grateful for the remote learning programme that has been put In place, and the effectiveness of the online teaching. We as parents cannot recommend Banogue National School enough."

Our three children are very engaged and thriving here, despite being very different personalities, because of the individual attention and encouragement that the wonderful staff give to all the children.
As parents of a student in 4th class attending Banogue National School, we are extremely happy with the school and it is delivering a comprehensive all-round education for our daughter. The school provides great opportunities to participate in extracurricular activities including the six week swimming course, after-school music classes, robotics/coding program, and Ogras Irish club. The staff are always very approachable and helpful. Our daughter is very happy & thriving in the school. I would highly recommend Banogue National School for your child.

We have 2 children currently attending Banogue National School and one that has just moved on to secondary school. All 3 of our children love the school. They have made great friends and even in this time of home schooling, they have been able to keep the all-important contact with their classmates and teachers thanks to the hard work and dedication of the teaching staff. The standard of education and nurturing environment within the school are excellent and the children really benefit from the small class sizes and individual attention that every child at Banogue National School gets.

As a parent of a 3rd class pupil I would highly recommend Banogue N.S. to any prospective parents. The teachers are all so professional and approachable , any problem no matter how big or small is dealt with immediately. The school offers an accelerated reading program which is so beneficial to encourage and improve reading skills. The mathletics program is also excellent which my son thoroughly enjoys. Banogue N.S have a large range of facilities and offer a wide range of other programs also. During this pandemic the teachers have gone above and beyond to make sure the students stay up to date with the curriculum with daily zoom classes. The school is always a friendly and safe environment and my son walks into school every day with a smile on his face.
We moved to Banogue 3 years ago and as a parent you obviously have concerns about your children going to a new school. I soon found out that was not going to be an issue with Banogue National School. The principal, Sheila Cagney, went out of her way to not only find out our child's educational needs but took the time to get to know him so she knew where he would feel most comfortable. Banogue National School have a unique combination of amazing teachers and staff that help now, both my sons, to feel safe and secure to learn and express themselves through the many different activities including Music, Art and Theatre. I am especially grateful to all the teachers and staff during these scary times in reassuring our children by organising zoom classes and homework schedules. It makes my children so happy to see them every morning and it gives them some sense of stability in these strange times. For this I'm incredibly grateful.
