Visit from Biodiversity Expert: Geoff Hunt

November 6, 2018

We had a visit from Geoff Hunt in September 2018. He took each class on a nature walk on the school grounds. Each class was able to identify trees and plants growing on the school grounds. They found a wide variety of trees and shrubs including aspen, eucalyptus, willow, ivy, elm, ash, hawthorn, blackthorn, hazel and elder.

Each group collected samples from the garden and then worked together to create beautiful posters. The children always enjoy the visit from Geoff Hunt each year.
