The Junior and Senior Infant Class have taken part in the Team Limerick Clean-up Valentines Competition.
The whole school have been diligently collecting milk bottle lids for us over the past few weeks. Thank you to everyone who contributed to our collection, especially George who donated an enormous bag of lids!
Junior and Senior Infants sorted the lids into colours and tried a few different designs before they decided on one. They used old scratched cds to create a heart design in the middle. The older classes collaborated with us and used recycled tinfoil to cover letters made with old cereal boxes.
Schools across County Limerick have been busy designing their hearts using recycled materials. The hearts will be on display in the Hunt Museum in Limerick.
